Traits
VOIDED (Basic)
Terraliens with this tag have been voided! They can be Unvoided via purchasing a ticket in the Unvoiding Shop!
Permanently Account Bound (Value)
Terraliens with this are permanently bound to the owners account and unable to be transferred for any reasons
Non-Voucherable (Value)
This Terralien is unable to be vouchered, unless it has an added Appraised Value!
Appraised Value (Value)
This is additional value appraised onto a Terralien's Base Value - usually through commissioning artwork. This way, users can resell or voucher Terraliens for the amount that they have truly spent on one. If you see a Terralien being resold for a value higher than its Base Value or Appraised Value, be cautious when purchasing it! (Remember, vouchers can be double of a Terralien's Worth, but will always need to be approved by moderators with screenshot proof!)
Fossilized (Modified)
DESIGN NOTES:
- Made up skeletons, bones and other remains are fine and encouraged!
- The remains must still be embedded into a rock and not on their own, unlike moulded.
Fossilized fossil Terraliens are solely obtainable via Mod/Guest Artist designs or by applying an 'Amber Crypt' to a MYO Slot. Other Stages of fossil Terraliens can be turned into the fossilized Stage when redesigning by using the 'Field Kit' item.

Decayed (Modified)
DESIGN NOTES:
- Made up skeletons, bones and other remains are allowed and encouraged!
- The critter must be unattached to any other form of rock or crystal within the visor otherwise they may fall into a different Stages.
- Cannot have any form of flesh included within the fossil.
Decayed fossil Terraliens are solely obtainable via Mod/Guest Artist designs or by applying an 'Amber Crypt' to a MYO Slot. Other Stages of fossil Terraliens can be turned into a decayed Stages when redesigning by using the 'Field Kit' item.

Moulded (Modified)
DESIGN NOTES:
- Made up shells, keratin remnants or bones are fine and encouraged!
- The fossil itself must be casted within a rock or solidified magma and not directly attached to a rock, otherwise it would be classed as the fossilized Stages.
Moulded fossil Terraliens are solely obtainable via Mod/Guest Artist designs or by applying an 'Amber Crypt' to a MYO Slot. Other Stages of fossil Terraliens can be turned into a moulded Stages when redesigning by using the 'Field Kit' item.

Crystalized (Modified)
DESIGN NOTES:
- Made up crystals are fine and encouraged!
- The fossil must either be embedded within the crystal, or have crystalline growths growing on the fossil.
- Examples of crystals include amber, ice and opals, however we allow any other type of crystal to be used!
Crystalized fossil Terraliens are solely obtainable via Mod/Guest Artist designs or by applying an 'Amber Crypt' to a MYO Slot. Other Stages of fossil Terraliens can be turned into a crystallized Stages when redesigning by using the 'Field Kit' item.

Exoskeleton (Basic)
Allows a rough and hard exterior on some (or all) of the Terralien.
DESIGN NOTES:
- This trait color is considered a body color. The color of this trait must be derived from the terra's existing body palette if added. Colors cannot be derived from the visor contents.
- Exoskeleton can vary in shape and texture. The plates must be big enough to resemble the armored exterior of an insect. Exoskeleton can be treated like fur in which it is able to be a foundation for most traits such as having color shift, spikes, eyes, and more.
- Exoskeleton cannot resemble a shell such as a turtle or hermit crab, or resemble clothing. Exoskeleton can resemble armor to a degree as long as it is still recognizable as an insectoid exoskeleton, otherwise it will be considered material parts.
- Exoskeleton can have shine as long as it does not resemble metallic parts unless paired with the trait, similarly to add iridescence, a crystal conch is required.
- Exoskeleton is able to look bone-like as long as it wraps around a certain part of a terra as a complement to the main body part. For limbs that are fully skeletal or pass as fully skeletal they will be considered fossilized parts.
- Exoskeleton can be paired with Hooves to create mantis-like arms or legs.

- Can affect up to 50% of a Terralien's body. Organs and bones are optional. Can affect 100% of the body for microbes.
- Transparent fins do not require this trait.
- Transparency cannot resemble terrarium parts and cannot look terrarium-like in general. The intention is that the skin is see-through, not glass.
- For microbe subtype, transparency can contain the microbes found in the visor as long as it does not look like terrarium parts by having bones or organs present.

DESIGN NOTES:
- Fur colors are body colors. The color of this trait must be derived from the terra's existing body palette if added else one needs a betta brush when adding a new color alongside the trait. Colors cannot be derived from the visor contents.
- Fur or any markings for that matter, can have any pattern as long as it does not mimic traits (glitter, charms, plant growth) OR look too much like clothing. Some markings that may mimic traits are okay under certain guidelines. Examples include:
- As a general rule of thumb, markings that mimic certain traits cannot look three dimensional. Generally we advise that they have no outlines to prevent it from looking that way.
- Stitch-like markings can be executed as long as it passes as markings; they must be clearly two dimensional and flat on the fur.
- Eye markings are OK provided that the eyes are found on the critter as well as we understand that certain species mimic eyes on their patterns. They still cannot look three dimensional however.
- Fur can vaguely look like clothing, for example a marking with the same coverage as a sleeved shirt or dots on the torso area to mimic buttons, however it must only be derivative of the shape of the clothing it is based on. It cannot have too many details i.e laced stocking patterns else it will be considered material parts.
- Hair can cover the visor band and the tank but must not cover it ompletely. A good amount of both will still need to be seen. Hair cannot hide too much of the organism inside of the visor.
- Hair can be under the visor band as long as it is still visibly connected to the tank.
- Fur and hair can be any size, texture or thickness as long as it is still passable as fur.
- Fur cannot mimic feathers.

Iridescent Flesh/Markings (Basic)
Allows parts of a Terralien's body to be iridescent.
DESIGN NOTES:
- Unless the Terralien's subspecies is limited , Marine, Bug, and/or a Moderator Custom/Adopt that has above 50% coverage in the original design, Iridescent Flesh/Markings cannot affect more than 50% of the body in redesigns.
- This traits colors are considered trait colors. They are traits that, when added to a terra, add color by themselves. Their color can also be derived from the body but not vice versa. If wishing to add the same color as the trait to body colors, you must need a Betta Brush.
- Iridescence cannot cover more than 50% of the body for Sprout, Beast, Amphibian, Reptile, Microbe, and Fossil types.
- Iridescence can cover up to 100% of the body for Bug, Marine, Synthetic, and Edible types.

- In terms of the terralien's hood having eyes:
-
- Closed eyes can pass as markings.
- Button eyes will need the charms trait.
- Opened eyes will need the eyes on body trait.
- Hoods can be sentient when paired with the living parts trait.
- Can have hood "strings" with the tentacle trait. Aglets can only be added if material parts is a listed trait.
- Can have ears with the ears trait.
- Mushroom caps, Jellyfish caps, or Manta ray wings found on the head not listed are considered to be under the hood trait.
- For mushroom caps, it is a mixture of plant growth + hood and can only be found on sprout terraliens.
- For jellyfish caps and Manta ray wings, they are a mixture of fins + hood and can only be found on marines. The hood would also need tentacles if tentacles are present.
- Hoods can be longer or bigger when applied with stretched, usually something like a hood with a tall point that reaches the terra's upper torso will be considered a stretched hood. This is not applicable to marine hoods that resemble a fish tail.

- Vines that are able to move by themselves will be considered plant growth + tentacles.
- Tentacles can be paired with eyes on body & mouths on body trait to add eyes or mouths to tentacles respectively. In order to have a sentient tentacle, or a tentacle with both eyes and mouths present, the living parts trait is required instead.
