We operate on a FIVE-STRIKE Verbal Warning system, and a THREE-STRIKE Official Warning System. Five Verbal Warnings equates to one Official Warning, and Three Official Warning equates to a ban. In some cases, we may outright ban a user depending on the severity of their actions.

🌿 OFFICIAL WARNING Strikes

1st Strike - First Warning.
2nd Strike - Second Warning.
3rd Strike - Ban/Removal from the species, with eligibility to appeal based off of the severity of each Strike.

❌ Verbal Warning Offenses

Mini-Modding
Ranting, venting, or otherwise complaining about other users.
Rude / Inappropriate behavior
Posting unofficial Terraliens in the server outside of the Concept-Chat & Concept-Feedback Channels.
Breaking the pinned rules in the Art/Trade channels.
Other small offenses that violate our Rules/TOS on a minor degree.

❌ Official Warning Offenses

Spamming to an intense or repeated degree.
False or otherwise Fake Reports.
Tracing / Heavy Inspiration (without permission from the designer and/or artist).
Usage of the Terralien label on unofficial Terraliens.
Violating our Rules/TOS on a severe degree.
Backing out of Staff Adopts/BTAs without sufficient reasoning, which will also result in a temporary, one-month ban from participating in species adopts.

❌ Bannable Offences

Usage of slurs and hateful language (racism, homophobia, etc.)
Distribution of inappropriate or hateful media.
Scamming and Theft.
Harassment and Abuse.
Repeating Rule/TOS-Violating Behavior that has already resulted in an Official Warning.

Please note that these cases can be complex in nature, so there is no specific conclusive list of Warnable/Bannable Offenses. If you have any issues with a user, please DM a staff member in our Discord Server, or make a ticket through the Discord's support system.

General Rules

Basic rules apply when participating in the community. You must be above 13 years of age to enter the Discord Server or to participate in the species. Do not spread any hateful or harmful comments, links, etc. Be respectful, and strictly no mini-modding. Scamming is strictly prohibited.

Designs/Redesigns without a MYO or approval from staff will not be considered official in this species, and cannot be posted in the Discord Server. We do not own the concepts of terrarium heads/visors/etc and do not care if people use this concept. However, labeling these as Terralien or Terralien concepts whilst not being official in our species is against our rules, especially if they are sold or traded as such.

We do not allow users to have multiple accounts on our site. This includes having a friend, family member, etc signing up on your behalf with the intent of joining the species only to benefit a certain member. Additionally, using multiple accounts on Discord to join raffles or otherwise gain an unfair advantage is against our rules. Users caught violating these will receive an Official Warning or a potential ban based off of the severity of multi-accounting.

On the topic of bans, ban evading is strictly prohibited. This can be anything from using an alternate account to rejoin the community or getting a friend/family member/etc to join species events/giveaways/etc to benefit you. You may request a ban appeal at any time, however, not all bans will be appealed based on the severity of your actions and the time since the ban was enacted.

Please do not attack, harass, or otherwise message others for having characters with similar characteristics to a Terralien. If you have any concerns in regards to that, please report your findings to staff.

If you have any issues or concerns about the species or anything surrounding it, you’re more than welcome to open a ticket and a moderator will assist you. Tickets, however, are reserved for serious issues, and general questions about the species should be redirected to Staff Ask within the Terraliens server.

Loopholes that may or may not be found within the rules mustn't be exploited and must be reported to staff. If caught exploiting loopholes a warning or ban may be issued depending on the severity.

You cannot create designs heavily based on the appearance of a Terralien with the intent to inform your buyers to obtain a MYO to make it official. There is always a chance that the design will not make it through approvals or be otherwise rejected, and as such that opens room for scamming within our community. For this reason, we do not allow users to sell characters advertised as Terraliens or Terralien Concepts.

Rights

Terraliens are a Closed Species owned by Fightclubbed, and originally created by Sharkrival & Wolfed/Crazie.

We ask those with unofficial designs to refrain from using the Terralien label until approved.

Only staff, chosen Guest Artists, and those with express permission have the rights to create adopts for the species. Do not sell Terralien adopts without express permission from an admin or the owner. Only Guest Artists with express permission have the right to do so. Users may take customs to create Terraliens for money. Resales on Terraliens with a Base/Appraised Value and retrades are fully allowed.

You cannot create Terraliens for commercial use unless you have express permission to do so.

Terralien Ownership

🌿DO

Create an identity for your Terralien as long as it is not harmful. This includes alternate universes of your Terraliens such as other species versions, however, these alternate versions will need to be linked to your Terralien, and if one is traded the other must be traded alongside it.

Trade/Gift your Terralien.

Resell your Terralien as long as the value does not exceed its Appraised/Base Value.

🌿DO NOT

Co-own a Terralien officially. A Terra must only be under one name in the Masterlist.

Claim Terraliens as your species.

Claim a Terralien’s design as your own if you are not the original designer- even if you own the design.

🌿Redesigning a Terralien

When redesigning Terralien, please use the original design as the main reference for making the new one rather than previous redesigns. The new design should not stray far from the concept of the original design.

You may purchase items to add or remove traits from your Terra.

🌿 Obtaining TerralienS

PLEASE NOTE, TO OBTAIN A TERRALIEN, YOU MUST HAVE A TERRALIENS SITE PROFILE.

Adopt sales can be hosted through chosen Guest Artists, or through Staff. Adopts can be OTAs, Auctions, Flatsales, Raffles, or all of the above.

Purchased Terraliens always have a 'Base Value’ depending on the initial sale value the buyer purchased the Terra with. This value is constant onsite and never changes. If you purchase any commissions for your Terra, it is up to you to submit a ticket or claim onsite with commission proof, payment proof, as well as any additional context to add official Appraised Value to your Terralien.

You may obtain a Terralien from the following:

MYOs, Sales, Auctions, Raffles, Events.

Most Terralien sales/raffles/events are facilitated within the Discord. If you find one claiming to be an official Terralien hosted by a non-staff member (with no proof of express permission from an admin), please be cautious and report your findings.

🌱Terralien Sales

NOTE: MINORS UNDER 16 ARE UNABLE TO BUY USD TERRAS.

You may purchase Terraliens from sales. These sales in specific being:

Flatsales/Fixed price – Fixed prices are adopts that are sold at only a specific price, such as adopts being sold at $30 flat.

Auctions – Unlike fixed prices, buyers must bid to adopt. The highest bidder wins.

OTAs – Instead of offering just money, you may offer other characters, art, etc. whichever the seller prefers.

Backing out of bids or sales will result in an official warning as well as a month-long ban from participating in any staff sales if a sufficient reason for the back out is not provided.

🌱MYO sales

There are three kinds of MYO sales.

Grubsprout MYOs: These MYOs are often sold once a month, and cost Grubsprouts. Grubsprouts are obtainable via foraging, and Grubsprout MYOs are hosted in a Pay-If-You-Win Raffle.
Pupaseed MYOs: These MYOs can be bought anytime through Jasper’s Garden with Pupa Seeds, which are obtainable via events/prompts.
USD MYOs: These MYOs will only happen in the case of emergency or desperate site funding needs, and are paid through USD. Earnings are strictly used for the development of the species.

🌱Free/Event Terraliens

Event Terraliens are gained from the following:

Raffles: Raffles are events where a member can obtain an entry to be chosen at random at a later date. All raffles are free to enter. Some raffles, upon winning, may need payment, such as a raffle sale.
Contests: All contests are free to enter as long as the contestant abides by the rules. Contests include writing and art. A winner or multiple winners will be chosen and given prizes depending on their position.
Other Events that do not fall under the ones listed above.

Event-gained Terras, with the exception of raffle sales, start with a sale value of 0 unless USD value is added onto the Terra through any sort of commission work. These Terraliens cannot be vouchered unless any Appraised Value is added, in which case they can only be vouchered for that price & not doubled like a normal Terralien.

MYO Guidelines

MYOs, also known as Make Your Own(s), are slots that you can use to create your own official Terralien. You can find your MYO slots on the website within your account.

Sales do not follow a consistent schedule and may cost: Grub Sprouts, Pupa Seeds, or (RARELY) USD.

Down below are all of the prices, these are subject to change

COMMON: 600 UNCOMMON: 800 RARE: 1000 for FTOs.

COMMON: 800 UNCOMMON: 1000 RARE: 1200 for AOs/NOs.

COMMON: 80 UNCOMMON: 120 RARE: 160

COMMON: 30 USD UNCOMMON: 40 USD RARE: 50 USD

All profits with USD sales will be going towards the species in some shape/form. We intend on using the USD slots for funding to purchase plug-ins, commission assets, and create a better + more reliable website for our community, although we will most often sell Adopts to fund this.

🌿MYO Rules

While we allow LIGHT gore and other sensitive content as designs, there may be some other things that are discomforting and will not be allowed. We do not allow nudity on Masterlist images.
MYO slots cannot be sold for real currency unless if it is a USD slot. They cannot be vouchered as well.
MYO slots can be resold for grubsprouts or traded for items.
Designed Terraliens, however, can be vouchered. Jump to Vouchering section to read more.
Designed Terraliens can only be sold if they have added value to them. Read here on how to add value.

🌱User Made designs inspired BY of Copyrighted Media

Users are allowed to make inspired designs from copyrighted media. However designs cannot be a direct copy of the copyright design with a visor attached and must have some distinguishing aspects.
A terra’s critter cannot be a character from copyrighted media.
When designing a character inspired by copyrighted media, you must directly state when having the design approved that it is inspired by copyrighted media as well as provide a reference to the original media so it can be labeled appropriately on the masterlist.
Designs inspired by copyrighted media cannot be vouchered under any circumstance.
Designs inspired by copyrighted media can be resold for commissioned value if they have been appraised accordingly.
Prior designs before this rule change that are deemed too heavily inspired by copyrighted media will be requested to make changes to differentiate themselves if redesigned in the future.
Failure to state your character is inspired by copyrighted media will result in an official warning.

🌱Staff made designs inspired BY of Copyrighted Media

Staff or guest artists are not allowed to sell designs inspired by copyrighted media for money.
Staff or guest artists are allowed to make inspired designs if no money is involved and will follow the same ruling as user made designs that are inspired off of copyrighted media.

Trading, Selling, and gifting

🌿General rules

By Trading/Selling/Gifting a Terralien, you agree to giving all ownership of said Terra to the person whom you are trading with. The receiver has no obligation to keep the identity the previous owner assigned the Terra.

Terraliens with NSFW art cannot be traded or sold to minors.

Unsolicited offers on Terralien characters is not and will never be allowed. Please respect other users and only offer on a Terralien if the owner is actively looking to trade/sell. Solicitation is strictly prohibited and may result in a warning or a ban depending on the severity.

If we receive reports of a user repeatedly backing out of trades, this will warrant a warning.

All terras based on pre-existing characters must be sold/traded alongside the character.

🌿OFFICIAL Sale Rules

You have 3 days to respond to a staff member or Guest Artist if you win their design. If you don't respond in that timeframe, you are suspended from bidding/offering on staff/GA adopts.

Backout bidding is completely prohibited and against the rules. If you delete a bid, you will also be suspended from offering on sales again. If you cannot offer anymore you can easily say "Sorry, can't go on further."

Examples of prohibited backouts:

- "I changed my mind."
- Ghosting when pinged + DM’d but you are seen online
- Deleting a bid

Backouts that are permitted:

- Emergencies
- “This is my last bid, I can't go higher."

🌿Gifting

You cannot officially enact your own terms of service when gifting a Terralien such as giving the receiver a personal cooldown or taking back the Terralien if they do something you dislike. While we understand it is very discouraging, the moment a Terra is under a receiver's name it is of their choice what to do with the Terralien. They may follow it if they like but it does not prevent them the right to be able to trade, resell, or do whatever they wish with the Terra. If ever a dispute occurs due to this staff will not be involved and it must be resolved between two parties in a civil manner.

🌿Trading

You may trade any type of Terralien be it premade or a MYO slot UNLESS if it is account bound or under a cooldown. You can trade these for one-offs, other species, or swaps. You may trade multiples.

Trading a Terralien for a character with higher worth does not add to its value.

🌿Selling

Sale Value is the base value of a Terra when it is first obtained. Sale value can be changed when appraised. Sales that exceed sale value is strictly prohibited, and you must appraise your terra if ever you wish to resell it for a higher price.

To appraise a Terra, please go to the Terralien Discord and make a ticket. Make sure you have all receipts.

Commissioned art only adds value if it is through real currency. Currency from other species, even if it has USD value, does NOT add to a Terra’s worth.
Terralien currency (Grubsprouts and Pupa Seeds) does not add to a Terra’s worth since they have no USD value and can be obtained easily.

It is heavily encouraged that you use receipts of payments (be it screenshots or transactions within your payment method) to track your Terra’s value.

Terraliens obtained for free cannot be sold unless there are commissions to add to its total value. However, these Terras can be vouchered if they are not raffle designs. Raffle terras can only be vouchered for commissioned value. See Vouchering to read more.

If you sell a Terralien for more than it's worth, this will count as scamming and you must refund the buyer and take the design back. Failure to do so will result in a ban.

Exploiting loopholes to be able to resell terras for a higher price will result in warnings. Loopholes include but are not limited to:
- Creating an adopt alongside the Terralien, claiming that the Terralien is free to come with the adopt.
- Creating a one-off based on the Terralien and using it as an adoptable claiming that the Terralien is free to come with it.
- Adding on bundles to a Terra to raise it's price.

However, due to the nature of needing one-off based Terraliens to be traded with the design they are based of, pre-existing one-offs or one-offs based on the terra, provided it has monetary value, alongside their terras may be resold even if the Terra does not have any value, HOWEVER it must be approved through a ticket beforehand.

Community Donated Raffles

Community donated raffles are raffles that are given by the community. These raffles range from items, grubsprouts, to MYOs and premade Terraliens.

AS OF NOW THERE IS A PAUSE ON DONATED RAFFLES.

🌿How to donate + Guidelines

To donate towards a raffle it must have all these requirements checked out:

The donor must be in the official Terraliens Discord.
The subject to be raffled is one of the following: MYO(s), premade(s), grubsprouts, items.

Account bound MYOs or premades cannot be raffled off.
When donating grubsprouts the minimum must be 1k grubsprouts.
When donating items the minimum amount of items must be 5 and must only be raffled off in a bundle. You can raffle off a maximum of 3 bundles.

Once all requirements are checked simply go to the server’s support channel and fill out the following template to submit within an “other” categorized ticket:

All community donated raffles last 24 hours and rewards must be given out by the donor as soon as they are able to. The donor will be notified of when the raffle ends within the ticket.

Vouchering

Vouchering your terralien for physical/online items (such as adopts, video games, commissions, etc) is allowed under the following circumstances:

For free Terraliens, Voucher price cannot exceed $50 USD.

You MUST message a mod to request a voucher BEFORE submitting it in trade ads.

Voucher price can never be given directly to the seller (in other words, the person offering the voucher must be the one to pay for the item(s).

Voucher price cannot be more than double the value of the Terralien. For example, a Terralien worth $100 USD cannot be vouchered for more than $200 USD.
Designs worth less then $50 can be vouchered for the base value + $50. For example a terra with a base value of $25 can be vouchered for $75.
Terras with appraised commissioned value can have the value added on to the voucher price. For example, a free terra with $30 of appraised commission value can be vouchered for $80.

MYO slots on their own cannot be vouchered.

Free raffle designs cannot be vouchered unless there is commissioned value added, in which case they can only be vouchered for said commissioned value.

We do not accept any vouchers of the following: Resale + Add-on (as we consider it overselling a Terra).

Banning and Blacklisting

If a member is banned and has ownership to a Terralien, the Terralien will be blacklisted along with the user and cannot participate in the species unless the Terralien is traded to a user who isn’t banned. The offender still retains ownership of their Terra.

With the blacklisted Terralien being unable to participate in group events, you cannot post content of said blacklisted Terralien within the community’s space. Those who do so will be given a verbal warning.

Discussions about the banning/blacklisting of certain member(s) is strictly prohibited within the Discord server and could result in a warning if one continues to do so.

With that being said, please refrain from public complaints of another user regarding Terraliens. Please communicate to the user whom you have a problem with, or contact the moderation team if you need to file any reports whatsoever.

One can always appeal a ban, but that does not guarantee you will be unbanned. Bans as a result of very severe cases may be rejected immediately.

Voiding/”De-Species”

Voiding (or the “de-species”) of a Terralien means that you no longer wish to identify your Terralien as the species.

To void a Terralien, you must meet the following requirements.
You must own the Terralien.
A voided Terralien will be marked on the Masterlist as such by a “voided” icon.
Please keep in mind that once you void/de-species your Terra, you will not be able to undo this without the use of an Unvoiding Ticket.
If you, for whatever reason, wish to revert the voiding of your Terra, you will need an Unvoiding Ticket to make them an official Terralien again. You will not need any items that are unavailable to their subspecies to devoid them. You will only need the Unvoiding Ticket of the matching Rarity.
