Traits
Terrarium Keratin (Mutation)
Horns, spikes, claws, or hooves that are hollow, allowing them to fill with fluid or other material.
- This trait allows for the addition of new colors without the need for an item. Any new colors can only be applied to the area affected by the trait — adding new colors elsewhere on the body requires a Betta Brush.
- Keratin must represent the theme of the visor — such as containing the same colors, organisms, or habitat said organisms reside in — OR be full of liquid.
- Terrarium Keratin cannot contain organisms from other subtypes. For example, a sprout Terralien cannot have fish inside their horns.
- Terrarium Keratin can contain Charms or Glitter if either trait is added with a Trinket Orb.
This trait is applicable to the following subtypes for free when submitting a new design:
- Synthetic
- Edible

Untamed (Mutation)
An unusual mutation that causes a Terralien’s typical bipedal stance to change, mimicking that of a feral animal.
- When adding this trait via a design update, its color must be derived from the Terralien’s pre-existing body colors. Adding new colors requires the use of a Betta Brush.
- Allows a Terralien to take on a more animalistic stance, such as standing on all four legs. Certain bipedal and other non-quadruped stances or builds (such as those mimicking Dinosaurs, Birds, Kangaroos, Snakes, Fish, etc.) also require this trait.
- This trait is NOT required for Terraliens with Mermaid or Centaur bodies. Centaur bodies require the Duplicated Parts and Stretched Parts Traits, while Mermaids require Legless and Aquatic Tail.
- Does NOT apply any new forms to a Terralien. For a Terralien to shift between their regular and untamed forms, the Form Change trait is required.
