Sprouts are plant-based Terraliens with any sort of plant life growing in their visor.

Sprouts' preferred habitats are within the more lively parts of the planet. With their necessity of closeness to hydration, places such as the grasslands or lush forest are their preferred biomes. Their visors are one of the few able to have an open hole in its surface. This is because when they select their critter at a young age, their biology shifts to produce carbon dioxide instead of oxygen like most Terras in order to supplement their critters. Sprouts may show affection to other sprout Terras through their visor openings, as those who spend a long time together may temporarily intertwine their plants as a sign of affection much like how humans may hug one another.
