Bugs are insect-based Terraliens with any sort of insects or invertebrates, such as snails, present in their visor.

While these Terras are most at home burrowing into dark underground places, especially in the warmth of the dunes, they can still be found scattered many places throughout their home planet Terrah. They most commonly have extra sets of arms or legs, and are the only Terra species that can develop mandibles with their visor. This subspecies tends to indicate emotions through bioluminescence, as it has been recorded that the light produced by bug Terras shines brighter when feeling joy. They can also use their sensors to produce trills and buzzes to speak with others as a means of communication.
