“Why are you bringing Mr. Parvo into the courtroom today, Mrs. Williams?” The judge asks while Parvo groans in his seat. He did not want to be here. He’d rather be passing out candy than be here. It’s too cold…

“Well, your honor, this man on Halloween-“ Mrs. Williams began, but was interrupted by her child that she, for some reason, had right next to her.

“He didn’t give me no candy!” The little girl yells out as she points at Parvo accusingly. Mrs. Williams groans.

She bends down and whispers to her child. “What did I tell you about interrupting mommy. Do not. This is for grownups to talk.”

Then with a cough, Mrs. Williams began again. “I am sorry your honor… What that man did was absolutely unacceptable. He kicked my daughter cause she couldn’t read his sign! She literally flew up the hill and landed in some forest! It was terrible!”

“Mr. Parvo, do you have any words to defend yourself?” The judge asks as she looks over to him. Parvo flinches just a little, he had been zoned out.

“Oh yeah, uh… she made me mad with her knocking and I wanted to watch my movie.”

“Innocent. You may all leave now.”
