(P.s. I'm sorry if there are any mistakes. English is not my native language. There 552 words)
The satellite fell without warning. The rumble of its impact with the ground was heard even in the remote corners of Terrah. It crashed into the barren desert, a place where rarely anyone ventured except desperate explorers or wanderers. A few weeks later, strange growths began to appear in the area. At first they were small patches, something like blocks of rock covered with a fragile, pollen-like film. But soon these masses began to grow, spreading like a disease, covering more and more territory.
They resembled plants, though no one who had studied the local flora had ever seen anything like them before. The growths shimmered strangely in the sunlight and emitted a faint glow at night. Alarming rumors began to come from the desert that the environment near these structures was changing. The temperature was dropping, the air was getting denser, and for some inexplicable reason many terras felt uncomfortable around these growths, as if someone was watching them.
Witness, a tall resident of Terrah, was one of those who went in search of a clue. His skin was covered in black and white, as if to represent the duality in his every movement and thought. He had a keen sense for changes in his surroundings and sensed that the satellite's fall was only the beginning of something bigger.
When Witness reached the borders of the desert, he was greeted by bleak vistas. The sky seemed heavy, distorted. The air vibrated with something invisible. The sand was covered with shapeless growths that sprawled across the ground like giant mold formations. He stepped closer, gingerly touching one of them. As soon as his hand made contact with the surface of the growth, Witness felt a strange tingling sensation, as if the companion himself were trying to send a message through the growths.
It was several minutes before he realized that the growths were alive. They were breathing, absorbing energy, as if feeding on other terra's fears. The touch sharpened his intuition, and he picked up faint signals emanating from deep underground. The satellite was not just an artificial object that had accidentally fallen on Terrah. It was the bearer of something alien, perhaps intelligent.
The outgrowths seemed to be moving. They were reaching for the heavens, as if they were searching for a connection to something outside their world. Witness looked up and saw that the sky was no longer the same. Dense shadows surrounded the horizon, becoming more and more tangible. They radiated the same strange energy as the growths. The tension in the air was growing by the minute.
Witness realized that what had fallen from the heavens was more than just a foreign body. The satellite was a catalyst for the awakening of something ancient that had been in the depths of Terrah for millennia. The desert was just the beginning. These growths would spread further, and if they were not stopped, they would cover the entire planet, changing it beyond recognition. He couldn't wait any longer. An ancient memory awakened inside him, telling him that the battle for the survival of not only his terras, but the entire planet lay ahead.
He had to find the answer to the question: what had brought this creature from the heavens and, most importantly, how to stop what had already begun.
