All channels had been showing news about UFO sightings for 24 hours. Mio saw a neighbor's cart flying past at night, and then the neighbor himself running in the same direction. Terrah sighed and finished his evening tea. All day he helped friends and volunteers look for missing things, repair damaged fences and catch frightened pets. Dissatisfied exclamations were heard from all sides. Once Terra even had to get his bike off the roof of the house. Apparently, it got caught on the chimney and therefore did not fly further after the flying saucer. Mio himself was lucky, and none of his things were missing. However, he was very interested in the situation.
- What if the spaceship comes back? I have to be on the alert and not miss the moment!
With this attitude, Mio began to pack a bag for night observations. A warm blanket, a thermos with tea and cookies, as well as a camera and a flashlight went into the backpack. A separate bag was occupied by a hand telescope, which Mio had left over from the astronomy club.
After the final preparations, Terrah went to the nearest hill. It offered the best view of the night sky. He had to make his way through bushes and a river - fortunately, there was a bridge across it. Mio enjoyed the night walk. Having reached the place, Mio settled down comfortably, set up the telescope and began to observe. For a long time, nothing happened. The stars were stunningly beautiful, but they were stars that had always been there. No trace of a UFO. One star, two stars, a flying satellite...
Suddenly, a rustling sound was heard in the bushes. Mio tensed up and listened. The rustling was repeated. Terrah took out a flashlight. As soon as he turned it on, another Terrah, covered in leaves and branches, flew out of the bushes at him. Caught in the beam of light from the flashlight, he jumped back and raised his arms from the blinding light. Mio recognized the newcomer.
- Admin? What are you doing here?
- Turn it off...
- What?
- Turn off the flashlight...
- Oh, oops.
Mio quickly turned off the flashlight.
- Well, now I can't see anything at all.
- Sorry... So what are you doing here? Did you come to watch the starry sky too?
Admin finally looked around.
- Did a UFO fly by here?
- Huh? - Mio said, dumbfounded.
- Well, a saucer, a spaceship...
- No... I'm sitting here, waiting for it to show up.
Admin sighed.
- You're waiting in the wrong place.
- What do you mean?
- The ship stole things from the residents again, we were chasing it - and it suddenly disappeared! And appeared in another place! And disappeared again... But it was flying in this direction.
Mio thought about it.
- No, there was nothing here...
There were shouts from the river.
Admin listened.
- It's him! He's back! Let's run!
And he dragged Mio along with him.
When they arrived, the UFO was gone. Only the indignant residents. Only Mio and Admin wanted to question them, when screams were heard from one of the nearby streets. They took off again, but were again late. This continued all night. The Terrahs were unable to catch up with the spacecraft.
Tired, they returned to the hill. However, as soon as they climbed up, a flying saucer flew past them, with Mio's telescope, blanket, and thermos flying in a chain behind it.
- Hey! Give it back!!!
With indignant cries, the two Terrahs rushed after the spacecraft, which disappeared into the distance.
