The air was no longer with its warm damp feel, it was now crisp with the smell of fall and a nice cold breeze with the weather. Skully walked on the once lush green grass that was now hidden under crunchy golden leaves. They sat down by a tree with the sun shining on their shiny scales as they summoned a tiny fish friend petting his holographic head. “Looks like falls here, I should probably get ready for this fall soon, but not now. Now I'll just enjoy it” They looked at the tiny floating fish as they pushed their head back against the tree moving their paws around until they had a leaf. They crunched the leaf hearing the loud crunch as the cold autumn breeze blew through them giving a cold but nice welcome to the upcoming season. “Haha, Doctor Scope will have trouble finding what they need hidden under all these leaves too.” Slowly they stood up and started to run quickly jumping into a large leaf pile giggling and just laying in the pile embracing the crisp smell of maple and apple. Walking out they saw Jasper setting up their stand with some nice fake autumn leaves and pumpkins "Hey Jasper I take it that you're getting ready for the new season already huh?" He looked up to Skully with a smile "Well'ya can't be too early sides' Decorators always give you more attention plus it's good to get a nice chance every once in and while." They took a peek into Jasper's items for sale looking and snooping around "Well I would assume you have Lots of glow vials, seems to be a popular item for terraliens during Halloween?" Skully stated "Well yeah but I think this year I might try to change it up with some psych shrooms, can never fail to experiment... sometimes" With that, they waved each other off as Skully left Jaspers' shop walking towards the lake and hopping it, was colder in the water for sure. They swam around watching the fish prepare for the soon following winter and the changes happen. it was always enjoyable to watch the seasons change but something about fall was nice, and not just the fact that they never even needed a costume during Halloween. Something about finally having that cold crisp air after so long come back and watch the dazzling colors change in beauty.
