The first day of fall was always a tad cold, though Robbie decided it’d be best to wear a jacket anyways. Being cold-blooded wasn’t always as cool as it seemed. He looked around, the falling leaves and the orange-y look to everything. It was refreshing from the scorching heat summer brought, and the numerous storms and heatwaves.
It was somewhat windy out, leading to a flurry of leaves scuttering past Robbie's feet.
The leaves flew like a flock of birds leaving for a warmer place. Robbie looked up, it was cloudy and looked as if it were to rain soon. Robbie walked down the streets, noticing the numerous Halloween stores mysteriously appearing on streets where they definitely weren’t before. He shrugged it off though, this happened every year.

Robbie was heading to the mall to grab some Halloween decorations and a fall jacket and some new boots. Gotta be warm during fall, right? Looking around the crowded stores, he noticed the notorious scent of Pumpkin spice. Of course. After a bit, he noticed a clothing store with some well-priced jackets. Picking one up, he headed right back outside. Looking around, he noticed a small sign that mentioned a ‘Fall Festival’. Interesting.
He hadn’t gone to many of the Festivals before, but it wouldn’t hurt to try. Following the directions of the sign, he found himself in what felt like a faire. Scarecrows and rakes and lots and lots of leaves, nifty. Wandering around he saw a few food stands selling cinnamon rolls, and other sugary delights. Buying a bite or two, he pondered how he’d eat it… Oh well.

There were a few performers around, and a few people raking the leaves up. Though, more kept on falling and falling. There were a few ‘arts and crafts’ areas, you could glue leaves to a canvas to make a face or something. At least that’s what it looked like from afar.
There was also what appeared to be a potato sack race going on. Watching the contestants trip each other was quite fun. He didn’t know what the prize was though.

As he walked on through the festival, he noticed loads of stands full of candy and others of pumpkins. Tis’ the season for carving. Not too far away there were also costume stands, though the costumes looked like they were straight from a dirty stinky alleyway with how low quality they were. Yikes. Robbie decided to buy a pumpkin and a box of candy and waved to the terras of the faire and headed off home. All in all, he’d definitely go again next year.
