But that tranquility was shattered one night when a satellite, glowing hot and fast, plummeted from the sky and crashed deep into the wilderness. Soon after, the first signs of something unusual began to sprout.

Strange, plant-like growths started to emerge across Terrah—alien flora with luminous green veins and pulsing energy. At first, they were harmless, small tendrils of moss here and there. But as the days passed, the growths grew bolder. Towering stalks, as tall as trees, unfurled from the ground, their roots snaking beneath the earth and choking out Terrah’s native flora. The glowing plants spread across hillsides and valleys, filling the air with a strange hum. No one knew what caused them to appear, but rumors began to circulate. The satellite wasn’t just a piece of space debris—something had come with it.

Cake the Terralien was no stranger to curiosity. She had an innate sense for when things weren’t right, and the growths gave her that very feeling.
