“Huh… A cave?” Irina darts around the forest. Recently, these weird things have happened all over the planet, and Irina is determined to find out why. So, every day, she’s been observing the broken satellite, watching these creepy plants, and even trying to chase down this massive terra that’s appeared.
But today, the satellite has disappeared, and Irina’s confident it’s inside the cave.
“Okay. Just go for it.” Irina says, before sprinting into the cave.
“EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!!!” She shrieks, as she slams into something, which screams right back.
“WHO ARE YOU?!” Irina screams, brandishing a stick at the thing she hit menacingly.
“WHAT ARE YOU?!” The thing lights up a lamp- and turns out to be a Terralien, with round glasses.
“Oh.” Irina says blankly, still brandishing her stick. “I'm a…Terralien? And you are?...”
“My name’s Lydia.” The Terralien explains. “This is very random- but I need help fixing my satellite!” She exclaims, pointing at the Satellite which is currently in the dark cave.
“Okay.” Irina says, backing up. “Uhm, I’m Irina.” She offers, putting down her stick carefully. “And I’ve been studying the Satellite ever since it landed, and I might know what’s wrong.”
“Really?” Lydia perks up, bouncing up to her paws. “I’ve been working on it… but…” She says with a sigh, as sparks explode from her Satellite. “It keeps on doing that…”
Irina carefully approaches the Satellite, taking a screwdriver. “I think it’s because the wires are all ripped and twisted?” She says, carefully poking the wires with her screwdriver, before leaping back as sparks fly out again, one catching onto her fur, igniting her.
“OH MY GOD! I’M ON FIRE!” She screams, and Lydia grabs water, and pours it onto her.
“This thing is really fried.” Lydia groans.
“Yeah, I can definitely tell…” Irina says, pointing at her charred fur.
“NO! JUNIOR!” Lydia suddenly shouts, dragging a smaller terra away from her Satellite.
“This is Junior… my new sibling.” She sighs, pushing Junior out the cave.
“Don’t cause trouble, Junior.” She scolds. “Go do something at that new Playfair,” She adds, as Junior scampers off.
“Such a handful…” Lydia grumbles, before hopping back onto her chair.
“I’ll try to fix your Satellite then,” Irina says, grabbing tools and starting to work on it.
With Irina now working on the Satellite, Lydia takes the chance to start working on something mysterious on her computer.
Meanwhile, Irina has to stomp the flames out of her tail again, after the sparks suddenly fly out.
“Yikes…” Lydia groans- before everything suddenly goes dark, and Irina plummets into a hole in the ground.
