Moondance was helping Lydia, she wasn't exactly sure what was going on but the explanation that Lydia did give her was relieving at least. Moon was fixing a satellite. Or so that's what she had been told. Lydia seemed focused while Moondance was looking at the satellite curiously. “So this is your doing?” Moon asked the strange Terra who said nothing. That made Moondance a little nervous because she wasn't sure what to expect. But, she did as asked; helping bring parts and putting things together was her task. It's intriguing as much as it was also strange.
As Moondance listened to the explanation, she was putting some sensors on the satellite. It wasn't difficult work but the more she worked the calmer she felt. At least she knew she was doing something productive even if she wasn't sure what it exactly was. Moon looked over towards where Lydia was speaking from as she was asked to put some sort of code into the satellite, which when she did it, it made the large item make a strange warble for a moment before it went silent again. Moondance sighed and just continued on working on it, putting in some new screens and fixing some wiring.
After this was done, Lydia instructed her to do something else. It seemed directed at the core next to her. Moondance took it gently, walked around to one side of the satellite, and opened up a compartment and carefully put the core inside. Then Lydia wanted to test to see if it was working correctly. They'd been trying to fix the satellite for about fourteen hours at this point. So hopefully something would work right. And Moondance was only getting more anxious the longer it took. Lydia typed in a few more codes from her terminal, then had it turned on. It seemed fine so far.
The satellite made a few noises and some lights turned on and flashed for a while. Once it'd been rebooted, Lydia had Moondance check the status of its system. So Moon did just that, looking at one of the screens and clicked through a series of buttons. The status screen popped up and showed everything was running as it should be. This excited Lydia and Moondance. “It works it seems. I think we should rest a bit and continue with everything later.” Moondance said, and Lydia seemed to agree. So Moon went and relaxed for a few hours, wanting to finish everything later and Lydia seemed to go quiet for now.
