“Where is it?!” Ra exclaimed, throwing random objects onto the floor. Dal had been awoken by the commotion and was not super pleased about it. He got up and walked down the stairs to whenever his housemate was having a fit.
“Duude what are you doing? It’s 5 in the morning…” Dal yawned; he was still a bit groggy. “Can you quiet down at least??”
“We’ve been robbed!” Ra hissed. “I’m pretty sure it was that creepy asshole who’s always lurking around in the nearby woods-”
This immediately snapped Dal out of his drowsiness. “Wait what?! Slow down! What happened??”
Ra let out a deep sigh, an angry one. “I woke up from some random noise outside, tried to go back to sleep but after 2 hours I couldn’t, so I came down here to find your bag and car keys so I could go to the bar or something.”
“Why are you taking my-?!” Dal tried to question buuut Ra just kept talking anyways.
“I couldn’t find them anywhere and I saw that smoke weirdo outside again so I’m pretty sure he fuckin’ took ‘em.” Ra finally concluded. Dal let out a long sigh.
“Okay why would he want my stuff and the car keys, and if he stole them why would he just linger outside of the house and not run off with the car, especially when the entire town knows you like pick fights with everyone?” Denver asked. Ra was silent for a moment, he wasn’t dumbfounded but he realized he was so caught up in his anger (and whatever beef he has with Reese) that he didn’t think it over before jumping to conclusions. Again.
“That’s… a fair point. I do apologize for waking you up though and the uh… mess.” Ra replied, genuinely. Denver looked around. Yep. Place was a mess. Oh well not his problem. Whoever makes its has to clean it up since those are the house rules him and all the other housemates decided a long while ago. “But that still doesn’t explain where your shit went.”
However before either of them could continue their conversation, someone was pounding on the door, rapidly. Good star wyrm they couldn’t catch a break this morning.
Denver walked up to the door and opened it, and the moment he did, the small flan terra immediately started explaining everything without pause, fast. “Okay so like I was working late and the diner and I just got off my shift and as I was about to head home but I heard a WHOOSH in the sky so I immediately looked up and saw this BIG flying saucer donut thing and oh wow it was weird because it like a bug but not really a bug or like when Ra punted a rock at those twins we banned from the diner but anyways I really wanted to tell you so I ran straight from the diner to here. GASP”
Dal was genuinely worried Fluppy was about to pass out on their porch but after like, two really deep breaths she was fine. He didn’t think anyone could out match her in a race. “Okay wait, so you saw a UFO??”
“YEAH! IT WAS BIG AND LOUD AND I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA CRASH AT FIRST AND-“ Fluppy started on again.
“Okay okay I heard you!” Dal quickly cut in before she repeated the whole thing. “Why did you want to tell me in the dead of night?”
“Oh because I wanna see if it lands somewhere. Wanna come?” Her tail started wagging
Dal would have to think about that.
