Moondance noticed it almost as soon as she stepped outside. A nice, big storm was on its way! And she was happy for it too because she loved storms, especially when lightning was part of them. Stormy weather fascinated her and she found it to be rather relaxing when the rain was loud enough. "Mmm a storm is coming. That's good, rain is good." She said to herself as she sat down right outside her home just watching it get closer. She could hear it from there, the rain pouring across the land. It was rather pleasant in her opinion.

It was a thunderstorm, the best kind of storm. Loud thunder, and it would last a good while. She slept the best when it poured! And it looked like it would be here by nightfall, which she thought was perfect. Moon figured she would have enough time to get everything ready for tonight, make her bed nice and cozy, make sure she had candles ready in case of emergency, and stuff of that nature. It wasn't a big deal or a huge rush though, but she knew it needed to be done before it got here. She would be prepared!
