The moon hung high in the sky, the air cold and humid with the clammer of nocturnal critters driving on in the pursuit of survival as chorus to an otherwise uneventful night. A lone terra was counting through their stock, joining the fervor of the midnight as They sat on their porch; rocking contently upon a chair with a crate full of unvoiding tickets, scattered and waiting to be ordered. Flicking through them absentmindedly, a large bang rattled the sky, halting their handiwork altogether. A large object, metallic and gleaming under the moonbeams hauled fast across the sky, a skip a neon blue here and there from small lights beaming in a sporadic patterns from it's sides. Staring in disbelief they abandoned everything in a quick second after initial surprise, slamming close the wooden screen door behind their tail as they rushed to get a camera. They sped down the hall, reaching a small cupboard filled with numerous trinkets in it's drawers; They searched hastily.

The ufo zooming across the sky gave no patience to be captured upon a still image, instead initiating a large beam of light from it's underbelly, sucking up all manners of objects and as it went along. The terra's box of tickets flew up into the vessel, the value of the contents never to have been FORGOTTEN as there was no value of them beforehand to the hulking metal. Up went the rocking chair too, spiraling and knocked against some wooden supports keeping up the front of the house before vanishing into nothing. The terra was alerted promptly, head whipped to the source of the sound. They renewed their search with vigor before shuffling aside a few old receipts to unviel a small pocket flashlight. They snatched it up quickly, rushing to the door. Alas there was nought a thing left to be seen, only a trail of empty space and a single unvoid ticket perched upon the porch step, as if calling for justice for It's stolen brethren to be found. The terra gripped the flashlight in it's hands, quickly whisking up the ticket into It's palm and rushing off after the wake of the object. Heading off into the great expanse of the dark blanket of the sky littered with stars. The UFO raged onwards, disturbing residence after residence, lights flickering on after being flushed empty of all things near and dear to the Terras' within. Would this ever end?
