"Monsters!"

Rave slammed her hands on her desk, excitedly. "It's gotta be, Marshmallow!"

"Myaaaahn...~" The little white cat in the sparkly Terra's visor mewed mid-yawn, seeming more content to nap than go out on an adventure.

"Aw, I know, but- I can't help it! It's so exciting!"

Rave poured over the wide variety of eye-witness reports of strange things happening within the past couple of days. Her chats with forum buddies kept going the same exact way-- Rumors of aliens crash-landing on Terrah. At least, that was the assumption. Maybe. Something about a giant Terra, too... After all, this all started after the recent satellite crash- What knocked it out of orbit?

...Honestly, Rave didn't know! She just thought it'd be neat if it'd be something cool, like alien invaders. Maybe a huge monster! You know, like the movies! ...Maybe she'd even find romance out there...? Again, y'know, like. The movies. Rave's tail wagged excitedly, nearly knocking half the objects off of her shelves in the process.

Abruptly standing up, gathering her things-- A flashlight, a camera, some snacks for Marshmallow, a bag with various supplies, and throwing on a nice warm jacket... Finally prepared, Rave began making her way to the woods on the outskirts of her town. She was headed to a spot she heard was especially a hotspot for strange happenings, and supposedly, not too far from where the satellite crashed...

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Rave wandered deeper into the trees, barely able to contain her excitement as she padded through the underbrush, scanning the trees for anything strange.

Everything mostly looked normal... But, as she stepped into a clearing...

Marshmallow suddenly perked up, ears forward as the light crossed something moving up ahead, amongst the plants.

She let out a hiss, fur along her spine starting to rise, alongside her hackles.

Rave hesitantly approached, crouching down beside the strange bundle of moving plants sprouting from the grass. Little bitey things, trying to snap at her. Honestly, she was a little disappointed. This was weird, but not 'giant monsters from space' weird. Picking up a twig, she held it out to the strange plant- only for one of the heads to yank it right out of her hand, snapping it in half!

Thinking, at least her forum buddies would be impressed... She snapped a picture of the strange plants, before standing up again and treading carefully around them.

"Ah... Well, if that's all there is, I guess we ought to head back--" She began, only for her attention to snap upwards at the distant sound of what she could only describe as massive footsteps. Just barely, above the trees, she caught a glimpse of something massive walking away. Rave was barely able to manage a photo- Blurry, but with the flash, you could just barely make out the top of the massive being's head.

Heart pounding, Rave excitedly turned tail, bolting back in the direction of home-- She really saw it!!! She had to go share the news right away-- She just hoped her forum buddies would be impressed..!!!
