Kipp’s sensors hummed as the sun hit his skin, the warmth flooding his core. Being a marine Terralien who preferred living in the water it was nice being able to feel the sun on him without the coolness of the water surrounding him. He stretched out on the sand where he laid sprawled out, listening to the sound of nature around him, even seeing a couple of other terraliens and their pets running around the beach as well.
After a little while of sunning his scales in the warmth of the sun, he stood up and stretched. A yawn escaped the dark blue terralien before he shook out his fur. The small tadpole swam around excitedly in his visor, also apparently enjoying the warmth. Kipp was about to return to the water he called home, but as he was about to leave he saw a small shovel out on the sand. His tail slowly started to wag and he skipped over to it and sitting down. It had been a long time since he had build a sandcastle and it seemed the terralien wanted to do it once more before returning back home. So he built and he built, using other abandoned sand toys he found around the beach to help him make towers and columns. A few young terraliens also joined him in making the sandcastle, that was quickly turning into a sand mansion and more and more terraliens joined in to help.
It took over an hour, but Kipp and the other terraliens soon finished the large castle which was almost up to his chest. Which was quite the feet considering Kipp was almost 6 feet tall.
He took a step back and looked at his creation with a large smile. He wished sandcastles lasted forever, but he knew when the tide came in it would be washed away by the waves, which was a little disappointing. Though speaking on the tide, it was already starting to come in as the sun was slowly setting. With a skip in his step, the marine terralien started walking back into the water before diving in. The cold water was almost a shock with how warm the sun had been, but it was nice. Kipp had fun, but it was nice being back in the water.
