Volt happily hops into his car, starting it. Today, he’s planning to head for the beach.
He looks into his trunk to make sure he brought everything.
Umbrella, check. Sunscreen, check. Picnic mat, check. Beachball, swimsuit, extra clothes, chair, food, check, check, check, check!
Happily, they start the car, heading for the beach. Along the way, Volt stops to appreciate the nice view. It’s afternoon, so it’s a tad hot, but not too bad. He glances at the road, and sees that there’s sand everywhere.
“Finally!” Volt grabs his things, and jumps out the car, sinking his paws into the sand.
“Oh, hey!” Volt waves to his friend, Drizzle.
“Hi Volt!” Drizzle hops over, shaking the sand off their head as they smile.
“Wanna get ice cream?” Drizzle points at an ice cream stand on the beach, before dragging Volt over.
“2 vanilla ice creams please,” Drizzle hands over the money, and once they get their ice cream, helps Volt set up the picnic mat.
“Ooh, yummy,” Volt exclaims, finishing his ice cream. He walks over to the water, dipping his paws in. “Drizzle, it’s not cold, come in!” he shouts, as Drizzle plunges into the waves. “Let’s go to the deeper parts,” Volt offers, paddling through the water to Drizzle.
“Alright!” Drizzle swims to the deeper parts of the water, where they have to stand on their tiptoes to be able to keep their head above the water.
“Hey, look!” Volt points to a pod of dolphins in the distance, that are jumping through the waves.
“Woahh, cool!” Drizzle gasps, their eyes lighting up.
A good hour or so later, the two finally came out the water, and grabbed dinner.
“Pizza is so good-” Drizzle munched on their pepperoni pizza with a grin.
“I know, right?” Volt added, looking at the time. “Oh, I have to go, bye!” he says, waving to Drizzle before leaving, and driving home.
