Submission (#402) Approved

Tess went to seek the warmth and comfort of her living room sofa, slipping some knitted brown gloves on over her paws. She loved the comfort of the fireplace once autumn came around, and so did her little friend in her visor. The squirrel suddenly perked up as Tess lit a fire, and he leant against the glass of her visor so he could feel it's warmth. She went through to the kitchen next, feeling rather peckish for some festive snacks. First off, Tess made herself a delicious hot chocolate, raising it up to take a sip before her visor immediately steamed up. The squirrel went wide eyes, scurrying around desperately as all he could see was this fog. Luckily, Tess was quick to come to the rescue, laughing a little as she brought her gloves up to wipe the fog off of her visor, and he was safe. "I'm sorry." She giggled again, before pulling off her gloves.

Tess went over to the kitchen cupboard next, grabbing herself a nice DVD to watch with her squirrel. She carried it through to the living room, sitting on her comfiest chair, and reaching for the remote. "Let's watch this then, shall we?" She thinks aloud, before putting the DVD into it's player and clicking play. She had a wonderful afternoon, watching this movie as the autumn leaves fell outside, and slowly the cloudy blue sky became black and littered with stars. Tess did love the autumn, and soon her squirrel was snoring softly inside his visor, which meant it was time for Tess to settle down for the day.

By the time Tess had made her way upstairs, she was a yawning mess, and slowly pulled off the thick, heat providing autumn sheets she had put on her bed, displaying patterns of golden orange leaves and acorns. She lay down under them, her fur ruffled by the mattress underneath her, making sure not to move to much as to not stir her squirrel. Then, she made sure the blankets were covering her whole body, and placed the empty hot chocolate glass down on her bedside table. She's take it downstairs tommorow...if she was able to remember, that was. Anyway, that was the least of her concerns in this moment, so Tess slowly closed here eyes and drifted off to sleep. What wonderful autumn evening she had just had. She wouldn't have asked for anything more!
