Sluggie walked carefully around the other mobs of Terrahs, watching his step. Laira was behind him, bubbling with excitement. “Oh boy, I can’t wait to make some new friends..” She trailed off when she spotted a group. “I’m gonna go say hi really quick, see ya around Sluggie and Cambrian!” Cambrian let out a small scuff but raised a thumbs up in approval. Sluggie watched Laira go, a small pang went through him. But it was alright, he still had Cambrian with him, and it was only going to be a few minutes, anyways. The two found their way to the celebration festivities. Colorful banners flowed in the wind like flowers, the moonlight shining on them ever so slightly. Sluggie smiled at the colors and led Cambrian to a small hangout area that already had a few chill terrahs with their pets. Sluggie sat down abruptly only to be blindsided by a side hug from Laira. “Yayyy! We have some more people to hang out with later, Sluggie!” Sluggie appreciated the ‘later’ part, Laira knew he preferred small groups most of the time. Cambrian yawned loudly. “Urgh, can we maybe go play some party games?” They eyed the two, a mischievous but happy expression on their face. Laira nodded, “Sure, why not!” She glanced at Sluggie for his approval. “Sure!” And so, the three made their way to the carnival area. Cambrian was able to win 3 plushies, all of their favorite characters from a series they enjoyed. Sluggie was an unknown god at claw machines but decided to only win a singular penguin that Laira said looked ‘distressed’. Laira, on the other hand, had some talent. She won out every single stand. The stand keepers now trembled when Laira came near with her beaming face, asking for another round. The whole fair feared her slightly after that. But it may have been from her giant throng of plushies she now had. Cambrian and Sluggie had to help drag them all to her home afterwards.

“Yeah!” Laira said when they had finally made it to her house. She stuffed all the plushies into her now overflowing room and collapsed on top of it. Cambria and Sluggie joined her with a laugh. The three friends played cards for the rest of the night. Surprisingly, Sluggie was able to win most of the rounds, with Cambrian coming in a close second. “I’ll get you!” They had said teasingly, a glimmer in their eyes. Sluggies sighed after laughing a bit. Yes, this night had been perfect.
