Basil crept up to William's room.
“William!” She kicked open the door, and burst into the Terra’s room.
“It’s April Fools day, and you know what that means.” Basil grinned devilishly.
William sprang up, delight in their eyes.
“Of course I do…” William cackled.
“I’ve got flour, glitter, glue, and slime, what about you?” Basil asked.
“I’ve been stocking up for the past month, this year we’re gonna pull so many pranks on Tsuki.” William yanked out a bottle of clear vinegar, 3 containers of white glue, and what seemed to be a jar of fake rats.
“Alright, it’s 5:00 AM right now, we’ve got about 3 hours to set up these pranks before Tsuki wakes up.” Basil looked at her watch chuckling.
“Gotcha.” William answered gleefully. “Okay, I’ll go put slime outside their door.”
“Ooh, that’s a good idea!” Basil agreed.
“I’ll rig their alarm clock so it wakes them up at 8:00 AM, since Tsuki normally wakes up at 11:00AM.” Basil quietly crept out of William's room, making her way to Tsuki’s room as William followed her.
“Got the slime?” Basil whispered.
“Yep, and I’ve got some whip cream we can put around Tsuki’s bed so they have to step through it to get to the door.” William grinned childishly.
“Perfect.” Basil laughed.
Silently, the pair creeped down the stairs, through the living room, and to Tsuki’s room.
Basil turned the doorknob, and slowly crawled into Tsuki’s room.
William pointed to Tsuki’s alarm clock which sat on their desk.
Basil snatched the clock, and started to set the time to 8:00 AM.
Giving a thumbs up to William, Basil put the alarm back on the desk, as William uncapped the bottle of whipped cream and began to spread it all over Tsuki’s floor.
“Good…” Basil whispered quietly as the two slowly retreated.
“Got the slime?” Basil asked William.
William nodded, and popped open the container of sticky green slime that looked rather nasty.
With a gloop the slime plopped onto the floor right outside Tsuki’s room.
“Go get the rats, let’s put one on Tsuki’s visor!” William laughed, as Basil scampered upstairs and came back with the box of fake rats.
“You go this time!” Basil shoved the box into William's arms, as the terra cautiously stepped over the slime, into Tsuki’s room, jumped over the whip cream, and carefully placed a couple of rats on Tsuki’s bed, then 1 rat onto Tsuki’s visor.
“Got it?” Basil hissed from the door, and William gave a quick thumbs up before leaving the room.
“Now, all we have to do is wait.” William grinned. “This is our best prank yet.”
“Oh, it’s already 7:59.” Basil looked at her watch again.
“Better hide.” William and Basil dove behind the sofa, just as an ear piercing screech came from Tsuki’s room.
“RAT! THERE’S A RAT IN MY BED, AND ON MY VISOR! AHHHHHH!”
The pair heard crashing and even more screaming from Tsuki’s room, and a nasty squelch as the poor terra toppled into the puddle of slime.
“WILLIAM, BASIL! I KNOW YOU TWO ARE BEHIND THIS! GET OVER HERE THERE IS SLIME ALL OVER ME, AND WHIPPED CREAM TOO! YUCK!” Tsuki shrieked, storming into the living room.
“Uh oh…” William whispered.
“Run!” Basil shrieked as she and William bolted out the door.
