Snek stares out of the window in his room, sighing and slithering out of his bed.

“It's just gonna be a normal day again…wake up, play games, sing, go to bed, repeat for the next million years or something.” Making a quiet and somewhat bored sounding bass drop noise, Snek picks up his pillow and game controller with his tail and sets everything back up, neat and tidy. Finishing up his quick chore, he glides his way to the living room, searching for his microphone. It's…quiet. Snek gets an odd feeling in his scales on the back of his neck…the house is too quiet. Where is he…Churus must be asleep still, after all, its early in the morning anyway, and he was up all night giggling and laughing in his room, the sound of power tools and other noises coming from it.



“SNEK! YOU GOTTA SEE THIS!”



Churus yells from his room before the door slams open, and the quick running footsteps come closer and he jumps to his side.

Churus has a small device in his hands, it's quite simple, a small flower with a white center and yellow petals sits in Churus's oversized hands.



“That's quite pretty, Chu! You did a great job building that!”



Glowing with pride, Churus puts the flower on his chest, and walks away, giggling.



“Let me know what you want for breakfast ok?”



Churus yells okay, then heads back to his room, closing the door quietly and seemingly going back into his own little world. Smiling a bit, Snek slithers into the kitchen, opening the fridge and looking through the contents. Using his tail, he gathers the eggs and bacon, shutting the door behind him. Turning on the oven and cracking the eggs…nothing comes out of the egg. Confused, Snek looks inside the egg, staring at the hole on the bottom. Shrugging, he cracks another egg, and once again, comes out empty. It happens over and over again, until there's practically a mountain of empty egg shells sits on the counter.



Churus giggles behind him, which somehow came out of his room without Snek noticing, then quickly tries to walk away. Grabbing his tail with his and pulling him towards him, they are face to face, or…visor to visor per se.



“You didn't happen to hollow out every single egg, did you? You wouldn't waste eggs for a silly joke, would you?”

Shaking his head, Churus walks quickly towards the living room but nothing without turning towards Snek.



“Have you checked the calendar? I don't know if you know what day it is…”



With that cryptic message, Churus disappears yet again into his room, and with the sound of the door closing, Snek quickly searches for the calendar.



“Crap. Of course it's today out of all the days…”

Snek says quietly, staring at the date. April First…the fools day. Hopefully that was the only prank Churus prepared, and with a loud groan, Snek gets back to working on breakfast.



“Well, if I can't have eggs, at least I can have bacon.”



Preparing the pan yet again, he opens the bacon and starts to cook it, no pranks in the foreseeable future…and once all the bacon is finished cooking, he cleans the pan while Churus comes out of his room and grabs some.



“Hey, Snek?”



Snek turns to Churus, putting the pan aside.



“I'm sorry for the prank. I thought it was funny. Do you wanna hug?”



Nodding and smiling, Snek wraps his tail around Churus and they both smile at eachother…maybe today will be a good day! That is…until the flower shoots water at Snek and Churus laughs and runs off.



I guess the war is just starting! And there can only be one winner.
