Maw is super excited to be at this festival of creative showcase, she has never seen a talent showcase let alone one with many people. neither have i, although once i did perform in a hip hop dance competition and achieved second place, nevertheless i left that phase of my life behind, rendering me unable to bust it down unsexual style. Anyway, Maw is in this crowd full of people ready to see someone go on the big stage, she did not go on it herself because she was not a part of the event, otherwise i'm very sure she would have since she likes stages, though i don't know how she would feel performing on a stage in front of multiple people? what can you even perform? lets put on our thinking caps:
You can throw things and catch them (optional)
You can be really funny but you have to be REALLY funny to do that, if improvised i predict it goes terribly wrong
Master all seven elements or whatever
Bust it down like i did years ago, performing moves with rhythm and stuff
Not much more
While thinking about all of these options, Maw got concerned since even if they are valid talents, it wasn't all too interesting to them to see this happening to their perception. But before they completely left the crowd, a lonesome odd looking terra stumbles on, this may be showtime!!!
After a loud feedback from a microphone they are holding, the silly guy begins:
“what do you get when you cross a mafia boss and and a road?”
“WHAT!?!?!” maw and everyone else screamed screamed at the want to be jester
“a whole lot of trouble!”
the crowd erupts in laughter, wow that's funny isn't it, the joke being that if you cross a mafia boss as in inconvenience them, and you cross the road they will drive over you. unfortunately maw didn't really understand that, it upset them slightly but she remained patient because i want her to.
they continue
“why did the carnivore cross the road?”
“WHY!?!?”
“because it was starving!!”
it was clear at this point that the author was struggling to flesh out this character at this late hour, but the performer is as inept as it's writer, maw is disappointed and leaves, hoping that the other side of the festival has more witty talents than this one. this one wasnt fun.
