Churus sighs and sets up the large painted sign in the front yard of his house, the red paint still dripping from the wooden white sign.

“This has to get people to come to my sale and not…”

He stares angrily down the road, at the two small anthros setting up a lemonade stand. They notice him and wave at him excitedly, and not wanting to be rude, he waves back happily. Turning around to face his sale, he grumbles and begins to rummage through a box marked ‘1$ each or best offer’.

“I despise lemonade…who in their right mind goes out of their way to drink sour lemon water when they can get *my* cool items!”

Pulling a tie out of the box and carefully tying it around his neck, he makes sure he looks his best in a mirror he's selling. After doing a once over of himself, then all the items that are strewn around and on the tables in his front yard, he sits and relaxes, waiting for the money to come rolling in.

It's been nothing but silence for the past hour. Other than his friend down the road coming over to greet him, then rummage and disorganize his carefully sorted book box, no one else has really shown up to the garage sale, or even paid more than a few moments of attention to him OR his tie.

Churus sighs and looks in his money bag. Counting up exactly one dollar in quarters, he groans and zips the bag back up. Getting up from his comfortable spot, he carefully fixes the books, along with the other items that people have set up. Staring back at his money bag, he makes a hard choice.

“One…lemonade please.”

He says quietly to the two small anthros lemonade stand, who are excitedly pouring him a large glass. He drops the dollar worth of change into the large glass vase that sits on top of their stand.

It was a hard choice, but even though he didn't earn much at the sale so far, at least he can make someone feel happy.

There's a couple of people at the sale now, and he watches them rummage around and find stuff…but for now? Taking a sip of the lemonade and sighing, it's time to make some more sweet moolah.
