Submission (#2762) Approved

(The following is a fanfiction kind of thing, I didn’t know if some things were allowed for what terras could really do, but hey it’s alright! Also, without this little snippet it is 325 words. ^^ )


Perseus positioned the camera carefully on the railing, careful not to let it fall. When it was finally ready, they let out a sigh of relief. The mountains around them were spectacular. The sunrise showed greatly on the formerly giant masses of just gray, making an excellent gradient upon it. The pool below sparkled with lilies and plants, other terraliens swarmed around it, snapping pictures as well. Unbeknownst to them, however, Perseus was on the balcony, with a perfect view of it all, the best place to snap a picture. They smiled at the thought, enjoying the lovely view. Perseus tapped the button. ‘Click!’ a perfect picture was now taken, in their gallery. They smiled softly, adding it as their wallpaper fondly. They slowly stepped down the stone steps, letting the wind carry them ever so slightly downwards. Finally, they entered the gazebo area, with thousands of terras gathered, it was a rather tight fit. Finally, they made it to a shopkeeper. “One lemonade, please.” The shopkeeper, hidden behind the black velvet curtain let out an unhappy grunt, and a lemonade was passed roughly to Perseus, who took it gingerly. Suddenly, a loudspeaker screeched. “All Terraliens, gather around for the fireworks festival!” By this time, the sky had turned pitch black. Everyone immediately silenced, waiting in anticipation. Suddenly, the sky erupted with color, diamonds, roses, squares and more, all dancing in the sky in unison. The stars came out suddenly, making the fireworks look even brighter. The crowd gasped and oohed, the whole group was astonished. Perseus enjoyed this, and sipped their lemonade in delight against the crowd, they were by themselves, but they didn’t mind. Sadly, after a good 10 minutes, the fireworks silenced. It was met with a round of applause. Everyone started clearing out after the fireworks, leaving behind nothing in their wake. Perseus smiled ever so slightly, enjoying the walk back, they vowed to come here again….next week.
