Quietly Rhodes would scurry down the winterlaid path, hearing rumours of festivities hosted late into the night the curious microbe was fascinated to what that may entail. Jogging down the icy path, he would be careful in each hurried step however, his pawprints leaving a trail in his hike. Now the discussion he heard was vague at best, but what he did know was that soon there would be lights that filled the sky of terrah. And so he journeyed towards the vast open space atop the desolate ice shelves in the tundra.
He wore little clothing to warm himself despite the bitter atmosphere, being so naturally small it allowed his heat to be well preserved, so atop his head a strewn hat was placed, with a tangled scarf around his neck. That was enough to keep him toasty though as he trekked forth through the solitude slopes. It wouldn’t be long until the path would become steep, using his upper body to clutch onto the ground as he tugged himself, though his short stature allowed for even the smallest of ledges to be a reliable platform. And so pushing forth, he would drag himself to a viewing point, laying onto the frosty terrain as he let out a sigh of relief. Though as he rested himself up on the ledge, he finally could take in a view of his surroundings. It would be almost breath-taking if he could breathe.
The desolate darkness of the tundra was ever present, yet the distant skies would be painted in freckles of stardust. The light alone was enough to illuminate Rhode’s visor, but that was far from all. As little sparks of colours would shoot into the sky. Bursting in hues of pinks and blues, gleaming down to the little terra. Rhodes would sit comfortably, clasping his palms together as he watched the sky fill in vibrancy with great amazement. Sloshing around within his visor, the microbes of his critter would manoeuvre together, aptly producing a mimicked expression of a smile as Rhodes sat there in great satisfaction. The rockets of light creating bizarre shapes like spirals and stars, the night was young however, and as Rhodes would ponder the view only more beams of light would fill the sky. Glistening in such a vast beauty as he sat there, quietly pondering for during this hike up, he never exactly plotted a route back home…
