Well this was boring.
The snow crunched underneath Robbie’s feet as he walked, creating a trail behind him. The evening air nipped at his fingertips, while the trees loomed ahead. The large lizard had nothing better to do, really. He had no family to celebrate with, no close friends… everything seemed lost to him. So there he was: trudging with his head held low.
Ring ring.
Robbie tilted his head up with confusion. Bells? Why did he hear be- Oh. There’s a party up ahead. How fantastic. The small reptile in his visor scowled, clearly wanting to be left alone at such a vulnerable moment. Robbie, however? He kept walking. He wasn’t gonna listen to a crocodile the size of his finger. The ringing only got louder with every step, and at last, Robbie could finally make out the spectacle in front of him.
It was rather beautiful, really: neon strings of color flickered on poles and buildings while other Terras danced and sang underneath. Signs labeled ‘Festival’ tempted him to join. Psch, as if he was gonna go and join the festival- And there he stood. In the middle of a giant music festival, surrounded by terras he didn’t know. The little reptilian in his visor dancing around a bit to the loud chimes and rings of the bells. Robbie shivered a bit looking at the massive crowd, a bit of nervousness wracking through his body at the sight.
The croc in his visor didn’t seem to mind being surrounded by the crowds, it saw many other small visor animals and attempted to communicate with them. By roaring. Of course it didn’t mean anything, but the other terras found it rather cute. Robbie was conflicted, he was either going to hate the festival and never go back, or he was going to join in on the party. He looked around at the crowd, the rest of the terras danced and spun around him, not seeming to notice him really. He decided, screw it, he’d dance. He took a few awkward steps and swayed his arms in all sorts of confusing directions. It felt good though. Like, really good. Like a happy release as he jammed out to the silly holiday music and bells blasting around him.
His legs started kicking around too. He felt like his body wasn’t even being controlled by him anymore, he just kept kicking and spinning and it was… so fun. He’d definitely be going to this festival again next year.
