It was finally time for the first ever winter talent show! Terraliens from all over gathered together to give their best performances, and simply enjoy the festive spirit everyone had. Nipton was particularly excited for Keanu’s performance, as he had helped him brainstorm ideas and practice leading up to the event. He eagerly took his seat in the front row, and took out his trusty old camera to capture the performance. Many Terraliens were set to perform before Keanu, and Nipton eagerly filmed them all. Be it younger ones singing carols, whole groups joining together to perform as a choir, and others simply dancing around, everyone got equal amounts of praise, applause, and overall enthusiasm from the large audience. And finally, the time had come for Keanu to perform. The lights around the stage dimmed significantly, and a sleek shadow could be seen moving objects around the stage. Finally, the shadow raised a microphone to its visor and started speaking. “Ladies, gentle-terras, and everyone in between, are you ready for the performance of a lifetime?!” All at once the lights turned back on and focused on Keanu. ‘Always the one to make an entrance huh?’ Nipton thought to himself. The crowd seemed to eat it up however. They cheered louder than ever. “That's right! Get ready to listen to the ultimate holiday remix!” Suddenly the lights dimmed again, though a spotlight still kept its focus on the performer. Nipton focused his camera just as the music started playing. An upbeat track began playing the melody to the common carol Deck the Halls, but with a more upbeat and poppy rhythm. “Deck the halls with boughs of grub sprouts, fa la la la,” Keanue started singing the adjusted lyrics, hopping and dancing around the stage with great enthusiasm. “Tis the season to be jolly, fa la la,” with every ‘la’ he would jump around, pointing at the different audience members. He continued on with the song, eventually leading the remix through an iteration of Jingle Bells and ending with Rudolph the Red-nosed Plantem. Once he sang the final line and struck a pose, ever the performer, the audience clapped and cheered as he took a bow and walked off stage. Nipton eagerly found him after the performances finished up, congratulating him and showing the filmed act that they could save and watch later. Keanu wrapped an arm around him as they walked through the snow, trying to convince Nipton to perform with him next year. Yeah, thats not going to happen.
